CallWatch

Every call on WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, FaceTime, Meet, Teams or Zoom is recorded, transcribed on-device and filed as notes under the right project.

When the call ends, its to-dos and dates are one tap away from Reminders and Calendar.

CallWatch web UI with sample data — a recorded call opens to its summary, follow-ups filed to Reminders and Calendar, key points and transcript, then a private call and the People view

What it does

  • Starts recording by itself when a call starts, in the app or in a browser tab, with my side and theirs on separate tracks
  • Transcribes on the Mac with Whisper; a local model writes the summary, key points and follow-ups
  • Files the note in Obsidian under the right project: by #tag, by who I spoke to, or by its best guess, else the inbox
  • Offers the follow-ups as Reminders and Calendar entries in one pick list when the call ends
  • Personal calls keep only the summary: the audio and transcript are deleted
  • Learns voices, so after a few confirmed calls it knows who was on the line
  • Nothing leaves the machine
